Up for sale is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT which was recently retired from the California Highway Patrol. These trucks were used for commercial motor vehicle mobile inspections and carried portable scales and other necessary equipment. CHP has excellent maintenance on their fleet and this truck is no exception. This truck is equipped with the 5.9 Liter Magnum V8, automatic transmission, power antilock disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM/Cassette Stereo, alloy wheels and factory tow package. In addition to the factory equipment, CHP also adds a very durable steel shell with opening side and rear windows and a sliding bed tray (which is great for loading/unloading items). This truck is Two-Wheel-Drive (2WD). The truck has been in California since new, so it is rust-free. The body has minor dings and scratches, as to be expected. The front doors have been spray-painted black to comply with the California Vehicle Code. The interior is in very good condition with no rips. Mechanically the truck runs great. Everything works as it should and it just passed California Emission Testing. The tires are Firestone TransForce LT radials in near new condition.
