I am listing my restored 1979 maico 440/t magnum II motocross bike. I am selling a couple of my nive bikes, may be retiring from work this year. Bike has a clear and clean California title, which is unusual as colorado does not require them, but will be passed on to the next owner, and makes this easy to ship overseas. Recently rebuilt shocks by works performance, nice period correct shocks. Bike really is clean, a couple of small dents in pipe as shown. It runs very strong, and frame and engine numbers are both correct for the big rare 440. Thought of by many as the best twin shock maico made. Does not need anything, ready to collect or race. Nice 35 year old vintage race bike. I have noticed a couple of times, hard to kick over, but rock it, or shift up or down. I looked it up, seems to be common on the maicos, nothing wrong, just a trait, but a local maico expert told me he has some that does it, he said... It's a maico..I will have a low reserve, and a buy it now. Once reserve is met, buy it now will go away. Look around at other project bikes, or the $5000.00-$6000.00 bikes. This will be a deal.
