82,229 original miles 1989 Dodge PU An originally correct mile D-1500 Pickup. This would be a good one for Dodge lovers. It had a small fire under the hood on the left side of the carburetor. There must have been a gas leak. It burned some wiring, hoses and hood paint. It happened as I pulled a trailer load of sand to a stop where I was pouring a concrete patio. I had a garden hose laying there and rushed and turned the water on and put it out. It probably burned about one minute and certainly less than two minutes. There was smoke coming from under the hood and water created steam so it was fogging pretty good. Under a heavy load and sometimes going up a steep hill it jerks. I think it has something to do with the transmission. The transmission does not slip though. The engine is a 318 V8. The vinyl upholstery is good. There is about $700 of almost new tires on the PU.
