1966 Jeep CJ-5 with factory Dauntless 225 V6 Engine rebuild approximately 4,000 miles ago. Double roller timing chain. New radiator core about 2 years ago. Stock Rochester 2G 2 barrel carburetor. Oil bath air cleaner. The engine starts, idles and runs very well. T-14 transmission. Dana 18 single stick transfer case. Stock Dana 27 front and Dana 44 rear axles with new seals and brake shoes. Factory limited slip differential in rear. New shocks. 4WD is fully functional. Warn locking hubs are about 2 years old. Complete Kelly hardtop with doors and locks. Functional vacuum windshield wipers (needs rubber blades however). All lights and turn signals work. New metal gas tank. All stock gauges work. The instrument cluster is NOS Stewart Warner. The AM radio works but needs an antenna. This Jeep is originally from Southern California; as you can see from the pictures, the sheet metal is in good condition. When I bought the Jeep, the hood , tailgate and fenders had a few dents so I found used Jeep sheet metal to replace these parts. Original Kaiser Jeep hood, fenders and tailgate. The hood has original paint (Indian Ceramic) so I know there is no body filler under the paint. The fenders have a few small dents and are not perfect. This Jeep basically needs paint and a little body work on the fenders to be complete. Rear sheet metal has two holes for backup lights. No reserve auction.
