Vehicle Detail

After 11 years of wedded bliss, it's time to finally sell my little white lightning. She has so much life left in her! I bought this gem in 12/2003 as the third owner with approximately 20k miles. It was my daily driver in the summer (when working 5 minutes away from home), but has largely stayed garaged over the past 5 years. It just cracked the 90k mark last month. This car still runs FAST, has a signature sound (Bassani X-Pipe into Borla 3" tip exhaust), and needs a new home. She has been babied for most of her life, and always given a full synthetic oil change every 3,000 miles or less. All Saleen documentation will be included, as well as owner history, paperwork on service, and upgrades all in a convenient binder. Below is a list of options and tasteful add-ons: 2000 Saleen S-281 Supercharged Coupe: #00-949Spec Stage 2 Clutch (Had Stage 3, but the ride was rough and the torque made it ridiculously hard to drive in stop-and-go traffic)Spec Stage 2 FlywheelShort Ram Air IntakeBassani X-PipeCarbon Fiber InteriorHID HeadlightsSALEEN Chrome Bumper Inserts Title is pristine on this car, and in hand. Newer replacement parts: Fuel FilterTires (75% tread remaining)StarterSupercharger (less than 35k on new blower)Coolant & Coolant Sensor Full disclosure - The car is in very good condition for its age, but not perfect. Saleen cosmetic parts are notorious for having paint flaws, and this is no exception. Please see the picture of the front splitter, as some of the paint has flaked away from the inside of the middle front bumper. I've already had this painted once (you'll see no #949 decals here because of it), and would rather not have it done again. Getting replacement decals from Saleen is simple if you want them. There is a bit of curb rash on the wheels, but nothing noticeable from more than 2-3 feet away. Also, the service engine light is almost ALWAYS on. This is because the exhaust system has no catalytic converters. They've become unnecessary since most of the state emission laws have been relaxed. To be safe, I have the light checked each time I take the car in for service. As of 9/15/14, everything checks out perfectly. This car is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. No warranty is stated or implied with this vehicle. Local Pickup is encouraged, but I will help the buyer arrange shipping if need be. Buyer would be responsible for all shipping fees. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the sale of the vehicle. On Sep-24-14 at 07:09:19 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions: 1. I will have updated interior pics today. 2. The "minor issues" under the Autocheck are a bit overstated. In 7/11, my front right headlight was busted by a tire flying off the bottom of a semi. I reported it to the Ohio State Highway Patrol so that the trucking company responsible would pay for it. There was ZERO body damage, and because of the instance, new headlight housings were purchased, along with HID bulbs. In 12/03, the driver's side door was hit by a falling tree branch (two weeks after the car was purchased), and the door was replaced. The car has never been in an actual accident.
