I have upgraded to a 4 wheel drive, so the time regrettably has come to part with my great flagship. If you are a Mercedes enthusiast, you are well aware of the high status and build features of this magnificent S series. It is a non-smoker California car currently registered in Nevada and always garaged; never seen snow. Shows excellent for its age. The paint, trim, seals, and glass are all very good, as are the chrome wheels. The interior is like new, upholstery is clean, the AC blows fast and cold. Rear vanity mirrors, auto windows, moonroof, self-close doors, memory seats, Becker cassette radio with weather band and power sunshade all function accordingly. In the course of ownership I have installed a new blower regulator, rear rotors and pads, front shocks, an engine coil, and replaced all interior courtesy and gauge illumination bulbs to LEDs. In addition I also have clear front turn signals and an upgraded 600 style grille on the car. The gauges have white and chrome face additions. These can be removed back to original if so desired. Note: car DOES include a factory full size Michelin spare tire; it was only removed to photograph the compartment. Now for the faults which are cosmetic and minor. There are three very small dents on the car. Two above the rear wheels, and one on the rear passenger door. There are some very small paint touch ups on the car to keep up appearance. The vinyl upholstery on the lower part of the cabin B pillars has shrunk a little. There is a scuff on the left underside of the front bumper which is not visible from normal view. There is also a beverage stain on the carpet in the rear drivers side passenger footwell. The floor mat sufficiently keeps this from being an annoyance. The Pirelli P6 tires still have decent tread at present, but are on the later part of their use. Per usual with these cars age, the outside temp. gauge reads inaccurately. The car runs and drives wonderfully. I truly believe it is one of the best examples on the market. I am happy to answer any questions or send additional pictures.
