1985 Honda ATC250R - 95% + Original Un-Touched Survivor! 85 ATC 250R Trike. Very clean, low hour, Old School Vintage 3 Wheeler. The Story: (Every bike has one. LOL) - I purchased this bike from the original owner about 2 years ago! It was purchased new in Arizona and has been in Arizona its entire life! It had a Hondaline speedo/odo on it that he had installed at the dealership the day he purchased it. The odometer showed 1011 miles on it when I removed it (the speedo does NOT come with ATC). I have only started it up once in awhile and driven it around my property. This bike has less than 1100 original miles on it. The original owner was an older gentleman that only rode it on his property in Northern Arizona. To my knowledge, it has never been ridden in the sand or rough desert. He also told me that it had never been flipped or wrecked! The only items that I know are not original to this bike and that I have replaced are the handlebar grips (the original ones were kind of sticky), the gas cap vent hose (original was hard and brittle) and the rear grab bar (it had a chrome 6 pack cooler rack and I put an OEM TRX250R grab bar on it). To my knowledge: the motor has never been opened up and should be on original bore. All nuts, bolts, etc appear to be original and in nice clean condition. Title - YES! Comes with clean AZ title. Know issues: It starts right up and runs fine, but does not idle great. I have not taken the time to clean the carb, but believe it needs to be cleaned (from sitting). Original Tires - have some light dry cracking, but hold air fine. Plastic Fenders - front shows some spider webbing. Radiator shrouds have a few minor cracks. Headlight shroud - has cracks as pictured. Rear fender - has been repaired from underneath (see pic) and has some spider webbing, but still looks good on bike. I was told his friend sat on the rear fender and cracked it??? The left side engine case at the top chain/case saver mount does have a hairline crack. The protector bolt is still nice and tight. The top front brake line guide has a crack in the metal (pretty common on 85s). There is a small piece of plastic missing from the top of the tool box mount (no tools in tool box). I believe the chain is original and should probably be replaced. The air cleaner is original and should probably be replaced. I just didn't want to remove these original parts. These are mostly minor things, but I try to be specific as possible so there are no surprises! I have other plastic, chains, air cleaners, headlight shrouds, etc that I could have put on (and would sell for additional cost if interested), but I just wanted to keep this bike as close to a true original survivor as possible and let the buyer decide if they wanted to replace any other parts!!
