I HAVE HAD THIS CAR, BEING THE SECOND OWNER , FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND WHAT A BLAST TO DRIVE, REAL GOOD MECHELINS, BRAND NEW FUEL PUMP, REAL NICE, HARDLY USED HARDTOP, BEEN OFF THE CAR THESE LAST TEN YEARS, NO RUST, EXCEPT UNDER ONE PIECE OF CHROME, HAVE TO LOOK HARD TO SEE IT, I WAS HIT BY A DEER ABOUT 6 OR SO YEARS AGO AND IT TOOK OUT THE WINDSHIELD AND DENTED UP THE BODY AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE PICS AND THEN THE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRRORS USED TO BE ELECTRIC BUT ON THE ONE, IT WENT BELLY UP AND I PUT ANOTHER REGULAR ONE ON IT . THE SECOND ONE FELL OFF ON THE FRAME OF THE MIRROR AND I GLUED IT BACK ON. FOR ME IT WAS OK AS LONG AS THE CAR RAN GOOD, AND, UNTIL RECENTLY, THIS PROBLEM AROSE. I THINK IT IS ELECTRICAL. I START THE CAR AND THEN DRIVE, SO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BLINKS ON AND THE CAR LIKE HESITATES, NEVER ON THE SAME CYLINDER AND NO KNOCK, PING, OR ANY OTHER ENGINE NOISE, JUST THIS ONE PROBLEM, ALSO, I HAD THE WINDOW, POWER WINDOW FIXED SO THEY WOULD INSPECT IT THAT WAS 700 BUCKS, ANOTHER RIP, SAME DUDE IN THE SHOP I GUESS. THEN, LIKE I SAID WHEN I WAS DRIVING IT HOME I NOTED HE BROKE THE MOTOR MOUNT, HE MUST HAVE BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THE CAR AROUND THE BLOCK AND DEEMED IT "FIXED" I WAS AND AM PISSED BECAUSE I LOVE DRIVING THIS CAR BUT WITH THE PROBLEM I CANNOT FIX, GETTING TO THE AGE OF SOCIAL SECURITY AND WILL BE NEEDING A TRUCK OR VAN, I LIKE THE OLDER CHEVY VANS LIKE FROM THE 70S, I AM OPEN FOR A TRADE OF SORTS, LIKE MY MONEYS WORTH IN THE FIXING I PUT INTO IT, I WON,T EVEN COUNT THE 6 HUNDRED I PAID IN THE TIRES BUT THE 700 DOLLARS FOR THE WINDOW AND THE 5 HUNDRED FOR THE SCREW, WOULD BE WORTH IT IN TRADE FOR EITHER A OLDER CHEVY VAN OR PICKUP 12 TON THAT RUNS, DOES NOT HAVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL. OR FIREARMS WORTH AS MUCH AS THE CAR IS. I AM IN NEED IF A 12 GAUGE DOUBLE BARREL AND OR SIDEARMS OR ONE THAT WILL MAKE A GOOD TRADE. THE CAR RUNS , LIKE I DROVE IT TO WORK BUT THE " CUTTING OUT " OF THE ELECTRIC WHERE EVER IT IS IS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT, SO AS NOT TO BLOW THE MOTOR OR DO FURTHER DAMAGE TO IT, IT WILL SIT UNTIL SOLD, ALSO, NEW 100 DOLLAR BATTERY, BUT THEN AGAIN, I DID DRIVE IT FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND HAD A BLAST IN IT. I EVEN GOT A RECKLESS DRIVING CHARGE ONCE YEARS AGO IN IT BECAUSE IT SEEMED EVERYONE WAS GOING SO SLOW. THERE ARE SOME GAUGES THAT DO NOT WORK BUT THE GAS AND THE CHARGING ONES AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WORK, THERE IS A MEGA-BLASTER AND TWO NEW SPEAKERS AND A BRAND NEW NEVER USED RADIO IN IT I TRIED TO HOOK UP BUT AM NO GOOD IN WIRING SO IT SITS UNUSED. I CAN SELL IT WITH IT IN THERE, AL THE CRAP WAS 1,300 UGH, I THINK IT WAS ANOTHER RIP BUT I NEVER DID RUN IT SO I DO NOT KNOW. THE CAR NEEDS WORK BUT IF YOU ARE GOOD AT ELECTRIC IN A CAR AND PUT A LITTLE TIME IN THIS ONE, PLUS, I THINK, A MOTOR MOUNT, YOU WILL BE A HAPPY CAMPER. THE ENGINE DOES NOT SMOKE, I USE ROYAL PURPLE, THE CLUTCH, PRESSURE PLATE AND STARTER WITH BELL HOUSING WERE RE DONE 3 YEARS AGO. I PUT ALOT IN THIS CAR AND FOR THE RIGHT PERSON, THIS CAR WOULD BE GREAT. AND CHEAP ENOUGH CONSIDERING I WILL TRADE FOR IT. BUT CASH IS NICE ALSO, THEN I CAN LOOK FOR THE OLDER CHEVY VAN OR EL CAMINO. NO RUST, YOU SEE, I CAN WORK ON THE OLDER NON COMPUTER CARS, BUT THIS ONE HAS ME STUMPED AND AS I AM GOING TO NEED A TRUCK OR EL CAMINO, I GUESS THE GOOD TIMES WITH THIS ONE ARE OVER, BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THAT SHOP AND I FRANKLY DO NOT TRUST ANY MECHANIC ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY CHARGE THE HELL OUT OF YOU AND DO HALF A JOB.
