Texas car with open Texas title (also have photo copy of the original title) brought up to Maine a few years back. Recent restoration, new paint, new floors, NO rot or rust any where. All original panels, gorgeous and rare car and straight as an arrow. The underneath looks as good as the top. Interior is new. Always garaged, always put up in heated storage during winters, never driven in the rain. Mild cam and an Eddelbrock 1407 4 barrel carburetor in the car, I also believe there is a shift kit but not certain, the rest of the internals are stock. This car runs and looks new. Head turner anywhere you go! KEEP READING FOR IN-DEPTH INFO ON THE ENTIRE CAR! EXTERIOR: The paint is amazing, professional job not back yard. No runs and no orange peel, it was done right being wet sand after and buffed. It honestly looks like glass. There are NO dings, the panels are very straight and the lines match up perfect. From what I can tell it has never been in an accident. There is NO rot or rust ANYWHERE on this car. The underneath is very clean and rot free as you can see from the pictures. Floor pans were new when I got the car and are in excellent shape. The frame as you can see is rust free also. The chrome is all in great shape but has your normal wear and tare so there is some scratches but no pitting. The glass is all original and has some scratches and a stone chip (see picture) but nothing inhibiting your vision and no fogging. The window gaskets look pretty old but the car does not leak water. One part of the gasket was missing and was filled with a window gasket putty (see pic). Tires and caps are in excellent shape. INTERIOR: Interior is all new as of 6 months ago. All new headliner, door cards, carpet and seat including new foam. The dash was painted the same color of the car and is in excellent shape. All the gauges are in great shape. ENGINE AND HOW IT RUNS: This car runs and drives like new. I don't know how many miles are on the motor or if it has been rebuilt. I can definitely say it is a very healthy motor. No smoke, no noises, no leaks of any kind. It always starts right up and has plenty of power. The motor never gets above 180 degrees even in dead sitting traffic on a hot day. Going down the road there are no vibrations, no wheel play, it goes straight as an arrow and does not pull left or right. The shocks are nice and it is a comfortable ride. It shifts a little higher in RPM's and that is why I believe it has a shift kit but dont hold me to it. There are a few MINOR issues. The fuel sending unit (controls the gas gauge) is not working. The passenger side windshield motor is 180 degrees off and goes down instead of up, don't really know whats up with it but it does work. Small stone chip in the windshield. It needs a turn signal switch. I can't find the separate key that unlocks the doors (I don't ever lock it) so you will need to have keys made of replace the door lock cylinders. The dome light cover is missing. THESE ARE THE ONLY ISSUES WITH THE CAR AND ARE EXTREMLY MINOR AND EASY TO TAKE CARE OF, I JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME AND MOVING ON TO OTHER PROJECTS!
