Up for your consideration is this 1997 Collectors Edition Toyota Land Cruiser with less than 117,000 miles in great condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. It features the legendary 4.5L 4477CC l6 gas DOHC naturally aspirated inline 6 cylinder engine, an automatic transmission as well as solid front axles. The vehicle drives and stops straight, starts, idles, accelerates and shifts as it should. There are no rattles, squeaks or unwelcome noises. The exterior color is Arctic White, and looks very good. The paint is shiny and the body is very straight and void of dings or dents. There are minor chips in the paint on the front of the vehicle, and close inspection will reveal very minor scratches and blemishes. The drivers black window/door pillars are scratched from an attempt to open the vehicle when the key was locked inside. All exterior imperfections would be remedied with a professional detail and/or minor paint touch up. The glass is without major chips or cracks, but there are minor blemishes in the window tint. The headlight and tail light glass is bright, clear and free of defects. The tires are in good condition with most of the tread remaining. The stock front bumper was replaced by an ARB bumper at the cost of $960 plus installation. The interior is in very good condition, clean with no major rips or tears. It is a two tone biscuit leather with chocolate accents. The front seats have been re-dyed to improve the appearance, and the dye has left the leather feeling a bit dry. There is a 1/2 inch tear in the passenger side door panel (please see photo). The carpets are in good condition without excessive wear and the floor mats show normal wear as well. The headliner looks great. The driver's seat button that engages the seat back is missing (please see photo), however the seat back adjustment does work. The mesh supply pouches on the back of the front seats sag and should be replaced (please see photos) and there is a spot on the driver's side lower door panel where the carpet is warn through from entering and exiting the vehicle (please see photo). The drivers window grunts a bit to get up when rolled down all the way. This vehicle does not have lockers, but does have the split third row seating. If you are viewing this ad, I'm sure you already know that the 1997s are the most coveted and in demand of all Land Cruisers for many reasons. These FZJ80’s are getting hard to find and it's rare anymore to find a 1997 in this kind of condition, with miles this low, sporting the Collectors Edition badges.
