This beautiful truck lived in North Dakota all of it's life Having been a farm truck is was cared for as any good tool. The original owner had replaced the motor with a 1951 8BA 100 HP Flathead - this motor runs like a clock and purrs like a kitten. My partner bought this truck at a farm auction. That makes him the 2nd owner. When my partner got it home he started in to work restoring it. The brakes were rebuilt including a new master cylinder, flex lines and wheel cylinders - it also has new front springs - rebuilt steering box - rebuilt rear springs - new clutch - rebuilt transmission - swapped the rear end for a better 1949 unit - swapped the tailgate for a better one - added new tires (15 inch wheels) - restored the gas tank - added new wood floor to the bed along with stainless strips and bolts - installed new stake pockets. All dents were repaired however there are some minor ones left in the fenders (see pictures) There was no severe rust but all minor rust was repaired before paint. All new glass was installed but the new windshield has a very small crack. (see pictures) All of the gauges work with the 6 volt system that includes a new Optima battery. This truck is fun to drive and gets the attention with it's green and black enamel color scheme. You could drive this truck anywhere. It cruises at 50/55 mph on the hiway. We will deliver this truck (via trailer) anywhere in the lower 48 states for $.50 per mile. That's 50 cents a mile one way.
