We are the second owners of this Beetle.It is the 2.o GLS with 5 speed manual overdrive transmission ,no turbo.Bought it in 2008 for $15,000 with 27k miles.Mechanically there are no issues,it runs great and has really low actual mileage,clutch is fine,shifts smooth.We used to pull this on a dolly with our RV and use it for the day trips.The top is like new,tires still look good and brakes are good.Everything works including the ac.Other options,leather heated seats, premium monsoon radio with cd changer in the center console, electronic stabilization program.Can't speak for the first 27k miles but since we have owned it,we have never driven it in the snow and stored it a heated facility in winter months.We have always kept in in the garage,never outside. This is a very nice car but a few small items need attention as noted above.I tried to include best pictures of the areas that need attention.The front fender is not very noticeable,the window regulator runs around $79.I changed the rear passenger regulator last year,not a bad job just time consuming.The little wing that lifts up when the top goes down just broke.I hear this happens a lot to this model year and most people just leave them off.Little rock chip,i guess safelite auto,maybe $50-$60?
