I am moving and need to sell my 1980 TR8, 3.5 L Rover V8 powered, 5 speed manual shift convertible. It has approximately 73,000 miles on it. It is in good condition with very little rust. The paint is okay, with a few road chips. All the electrical works, even the clock. It was built in Canley, England and imported to Charlottetown, PEI and Ziebarted there. The vehicle, with about 50,000 miles, was exported to the US thru Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada into Madawaska, Maine. There it was stripped to bare metal and resprayed. At that time a few modifications from the original setup were made: a breakerless distributor, Crane Cam ignition, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing were replaced. Also new Monza exhaust, KYB shocks, and Suspension Techniques springs were installed. The tires now have about 8,000 miles on them. Recent changes include a new fuel pump, radio w/CD, and rebuilt carburetors. Raydyot driving lights are added. I have the original shop orders and sales receipt (see photos). I am the fourth owner. A nice handling vehicle. There were less than 3,000 of these cars built from 79 thru 81.
