This is an unusually clean GM H body. Although it is all Chevy throughout, and looks like a Chevy, it is a 1979 Olds Starfire. Can't be told from a Chevy Monza 2+2. Equipped with small block Chevy 350, 4 bolt main. Turbo 350 trans. Posi rear end. GM factory heavy duty suspension. Runs and drives very well. Has power steering. No power brakes. No A/C. No power windows or locks. Handles very well on the road. Really nice jet black paint, with no bondo in the body. All steel. Interior is all black, needs cleaning up & detailing. Original sunroof. Underside is very clean, with some surface rust. It has a small hole in the outside rear corner of both rear floor pans. Appears water sat there for some time in past. Holes are about size of half dollar, right in each outside corner. No other rust under ( or on ) car. All chrome is very presentable. Not show quality, but, nice. All door handles work properly, as do window regulators. Rear hatch struts are worn & I use a support to hold it up when needed. Locks work properly. Gauges need hook up. Fuel gauge & oil pressure gauge work. Rest are not hooked up. Aftermarket speedo needs cable. You could just find a spyder dash & change over, or hook up as is. Doesn't overheat, & electric works fine, never had to jump or recharge it. Wheels & tires are aftermarket vintage wheels as shown, 13 inch, 60s rear, 70s front in excellent condition. It's very hard to find bigger wheels for these cars. These look nice vintage, with modern rubber. This is not a project car. Very solid, ready for cruise night with a little TLC. Not a show car, it's a driver, but really should be preserved, not daily driven.
