Vehicle Detail
1965 Belair Station Wagon Up for Auction: SUPER LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! This 65 Belair Wagon thats a factory V8 and 3 spd manual car. The motor was rebuilt by a local shop in 2007 (reciepts to back that up too) I was told they rebuilt the original motor, but havent tried to check the numbers yet. Since the rebuild the car sat most of the time and didnt get driven much and the motor only has about 10k miles on it. Motor runs well and feels good, as does the trans. Although chances are the new owner is going to swap it to a floorshift 5 spd car. Although this car has resided in Az most of its life it did travel back to CO once in a while, so it got a little rust, but nothing like most cars this old. Its also the way cool 9 passenger model with the rearward facing backseats ! Its a driver, but the tires are really old so we put these RAllY wheels and wrong size tire on the car to move it around easier. The car will come on steel rollers unless the winner wants the RALLYs then they would be $300 extra. They are 15x7s with new caps and good rings. RESTORE it back to stock or do something along the restomod way, or rat rod and have an awesome 1 of a kind car your friends only wished they had for such a low investment. Would make a great RESTO MOD WAGON !!! DRIVETRAIN: the motor again was rebuilt with receipts about 10k miles ago or less. Trans and clutch feel great too. HAS THIS OVERDRIVE LEVER under the dash which is pretty cool. should be a pretty rare option. V8 with 2V carb... Factory rearend. I think the motor is vin matching, but have not checked yet. I can if you want me to. Im not the one who painted the blue parts on the motor but they are rather ugly, I may try to clean up the motor some this weekend and paint some stuff for a cleaner look. If I do Ill post up the new pics. INTERIOR: All original tan ish needs full resoration Someone put in front buckets...the rest is stock. It needs restoration, but was originally a really cool suede color. 9 pass option is really cool too with folding middle and rear seats. EXTERIOR: Original color was some sort of Green, and its been repainted at least once a blue two tone. Some mild rust in a few areas but nothing like a 40 yr old east coast car. RR has the worst dent and rust.. 90% of the trim missing on the outside of the car does come with the car laying in the back. (see pics) The one front fender pcs missing on the car is with the car just in the back seat till smaller tires get put on it. SUSPENSION: FRONT disc brakes look factory. rest of it all original, the best I can tell and Im sure some bushings are old and shocks, but again this stuff is easy to fix these days then rusted out bodies. Should come apart fairly easy. Its been a weekend car for the last 5 yrs. Leave it stock or put some 20" wheels on it. Check out ALL the pics below -----> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra schroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. There you have it, probably The BEST represented wagons on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. Our auctions have NOTHING to hide . Restore a car like this yourself or locally and you know exactly what you have in the end. Email us with ANY questions before you bid please If you treat yourself to buying one of our vehicles youll never buy a total rust bucket again from anyone !! Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. ARIZONA TITLE IN HAND CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 days of auctions END ! we can no longer store cars for anyone !! Unless other arrangements have been made before auction ends. Can help with shipping outside the USA too if you need help. But keep in mind, the car cant ship until you get your title from us in hand. This car, you can see clearly what to expect with no surprises and our Feedback speaks for itself ! EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE !! Car will obviously ship as an INOP. IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state and Ill find out our best quote for you !! No problem helping it to the docks if you are shipping overseas .
