I am a private seller. I have owned this wonderful BGT for almost 15 years. I rescued it after it had sat in storage for over 10 years waiting to be restored. It has been a long enjoyable labor taking over 10 years to complete before it went on it's first new drive 2 summers ago! Every nut and bolt on this car has been apart and either repaired, restored or replaced with the intention of making a BGT for driving and enjoying. I have owned show winners and wanted this BGT to be tastefully restored with DRIVING and enjoying as the goal. Photos, records, receipts(ouch) for nearly 15 years. The body was professionally stripped, rust removed, new sills, new rockers, New floor panel new jacking post and front panels. University Motors in Michigan provided the work expertise. The car was epoxy primed and Classic British Racing Green was applied. Hard to find original tinted glass and chrome. Quantum Mechanics 5 Speed Type 9 Gearbox is the BEST single attribute for driving pleasure. Super smooth and fun to cruise! AIR CONDITIONING! Moss complete kit is super for summer drives in comfort! Expensive but total GT comfort! These two expensive but essential conversions turn this CLASSIC BRITISH SPORTS CAR INTO PLEASURE SPIRITED DRIVING! Complete engine rebuild by Auto Machine Professionals in St. Charles, IL.... look them up and you will see they are old school attention to detail and worth every dollar for a total engine rebuild. This engine will be running forever! Michelin Radials, Chrome Knock Off Wheels. Brand new LEATHER seat kit, custom professional installed interior with subtle beautiful changes for the AIR CONDTIONING! Stainless Steel exhaust. Professionally rebuilt twin SU carbs. Brand new Original style wiring harness mated to Quality Moss Alternator Conversion. Nice! This GT is not a perfect points car but you will not drive a nicer one. It needs a few things to finish up that I have simply procrastinated on while enjoying for the last year. E brake spring assenbly, turn signal assembly and tach hook up and maybe sun visors. Can't source the small rear stainless hatch trim. As is the case with any proper restoration, especially a Classic British Sports Car, you can not come close to enjoying a car this nice if you were trying to build it for the selling price. I have documented nearly 3 times the selling price and have it replacement insured for same. Those of us that prefer to correctly restore and enjoy know one day the market dictates the sale. We all can not own 300 SL Gull wings! This is a wonderful honest example of what a proper British Sports Car should be for looks and driving quality. Recent retirement from my State Police Service and pending property purchase has this wonderful 67 MGB GT going to a new owner. It is a head turner and SUPER fun to drive this CLASSIC BRITISH SPORTS CAR. It is a 9 or 10 month driver car that handles spring, summer and fall! I have enjoyed the roadster convertibles too but this car is ready to go when it is cool or hot. Best of all it is pure comfort spirited driving in the FALL when it is the BEST dring season! Serious buyers.... I am more than willing to discuss the work done over the years to save this classic 67 MG. This is my 4th MGB and the best driver!
