Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1959 Corvette resto mod project car that needs to be completed. This car has had some of the major work started but it needs to be completed. It had a full C4 Corvette front and rear independent suspension graphed to the original frame with 4-wheel Corvette disc brakes. (THE ENGINE AND REAR BUMPERS PICTURED ARE NOT INCLUDED. I AM SELLING THIS CAR WITHOUT AN ENGINE OR REAR BUMPERS) Buyer will have the option to purchase these from me if they would like for an additional cost. Also no top is included but I know were a soft top frame can be purchased but this would also be at an additional cost and is not included in this auction. The body of the car needs some work but is all there. The body is in decent shape. The firewall will need a little repair as well as a few holes in the floor. It has a one piece front end that needs to be permanently mounted and fitted to the car yet. It is sitting on a set of newer C5 Corvette alloy wheels. It comes with a lot of extra parts but the car is missing tons parts to complete it. What you see in the pictures is what you get. It is perfect for a custom car as you can build the car the way you want it. This car needs a lot of work but is a real 1959 Corvette with a clean title and original vin number and vin tag. This car finished is a $100,000 to a $150,000 car depending how far you go with it. Email with any questions before bidding or purchasing, this is a major project and I want you to know what you are buying. Also do not bid if you don't intend to purchase. I have had alot of questions about the frame and front fiberglass. I do not know who built the frame as I bought this car from a dealer and he didn't have any of that information. What it looks like to me is that the front end needs to first be bonded to the cowl and then fit to the frame. A few modifications might then be needed to get the perfect ride height as it looks a little high to me but I am no expert. Please do not bid if you don't feel you understand the condition or state of this project. Please email with questions or better yet find a time to view the project in person. The car is being sold as-is!!! Would consider a trade up or down for a C2 Corvette.
