Vehicle Detail
I have a 2001 Ford Focus for sale. This was my daughters car, which was bought in 2012 from Lifetime Auto Sales in West Bend. It was a super car the entire time my daughters drove it. Recently a cracked coolant hose caused a coolant leak, which in turn caused the car to overheat. I had the car at Homestead Auto in Saukville for repair. The diagnosis is a cracked cylinder head. I was going to proceed with the repair, but the time to get it done forced us to buy a different car as our daughter could not go without a car. Thus, I am selling our Ford Focus "as is" to someone who can make such a repair themselves. I put 4 brand new tires on the car on February 26, so the tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The tires are GE Altimax 185/65R14 from Tirerack.com. I paid $275.32 for them and can provide the receipt. The car is currently in a state of disassemble from the diagnosis that Homestead Auto did. The broken coolant hose has been replaced with a new one from the local Ford dealer. I have a receipt for that hose too ($56.80). The battery is disconnected, and of course the car is not driveable. I do have this car listed locally, so I have the option to terminate this auction at any time should it sell. For someone that can repair a cracked cylinder head, you will end up with a very nice car. I have 100% positive feedback, so bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my auction. NOTE (added Saturday 8/16): I will be out of town from Tuesday 8/19 thru Monday 8/25, and will not be able to complete a sale during that time. There are quite a few people "watching" this auction, so I added a "Buy It Now" option for $700 so the auction could be ended by someone earlier enough to complete a sale before Monday 8/18. The car is ready to be towed / loaded, and I have a clean title in hand. Please feel free to reply with any questions. Thanks!
