This is a 2000 Ford Taurus SE 4 Door Sedan. It has 73,060 miles. It was purchased by my parents new in March of 2000. Shortly thereafter, my father passed away and it became my mother’s car in retirement. This year she turned 83 years old and is no longer driving so we are selling her car. The car runs perfect and exactly like new. It has been perfectly maintained. The “Ford Maintenance Schedule” was followed exactly. In fact, she took it to her local garage every spring and fall for service including oil changes. She has averaged 5200 miles per year, so on average, she has changed the oil every 2600 miles. The car has not been in any accidents and has not required any repairs. The tires are relatively new and have about ¼” of tread so they should last for many miles. She installed a new battery this spring. For the last 7-8 years, she has not been willing to drive it on the freeways for safety reasons so it has rarely been driven more than 50-55 mph. It has always been stored in a garage. The car was “rust-proofed” by the dealer before purchase and there is no rust. It has a clean title. The exterior of the car is in very good condition. The is no rust on the body. There are a few minor scratches and smudges. I pointed these out on the video and photos. There is a small 1” long dent that I pointed out on the video by the driver’s side mirror. You have to look pretty close in the right light to see it. There is a small rock crack in the windshield very low on the driver’s side of the windshield. This was repaired about 3 years ago and hasn’t spread since then. There are no other problems with the car. The interior of the car is pristine and looks virtually like new. Everything in the car works perfect including the air conditioner, heater, power windows, power locks, power driver’s seat, power mirrors, cruise control and the radio. Both the exterior and interior have been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The carpet and upholstery has been cleaned. Everything has been tested and works perfect. I have 3 keys including 2 with the keyless entry remotes. I will include the original Owner’s Manual and the original Window Sticker. The mileage is rated at 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. She has always gotten the high end of this range with cautious driving. I have a US Bank and a Well’s Fargo Bank in my city so if you used one of these National Banks, I can probably clear the check faster and release the car sooner.
