Hello, I am selling my two door hardtop 57 lincoln with a clean NJ title. I bought this car off ebay in 2010 from Rhode Island. Unfortuantly i do not have the time to finish this awesome project. this car has a lot of body mods and needs someone to finish it . car has always been covered with water proof cover. I am selling this lincoln without the engine and trans. I just rebuild the engine and I plan on using it down the road. i installed a 460 in it using the original 368 y block motor frame mounts, so you can install whatever engine you would like. This 1957 lincoln has 1956 lincoln front headlight bezels and lights. Its front bumper is a 1956 packard front bumper. This car was chopped 4.5 inches. It has shaved door handles.the hood has a 1960 thunderbird hood scoop. the trunk is pancaked and i made a custom rear end. (was going to install a stainless grill in the rear). the rear spoiler is a 1955 pontiac front bumper piece.the split bumpers in the rear are off a 1957 dodges' front bumper. the rear suspension has 4" lowering blocks on the stock rear end, and the front coils were cut to lower.the driveshaft was custom made at DRIVELINE in clifton NJ. These white walls have basically no miles on them. they are just dirty from being in garage for many years. I have a set of 2 kelsey hayes cadillac sabre (saber) wheels. I also have the aluminum adapters so they mount correctly. these rims took me many years to find and afford. be the only person with cadillac wheels on your lincoln! wheels are mounted and balanced. floor pans are strong and covered in undercoat.frame has no rot at all. i do not have front or rear glass. i do have side glass and the electric operators. i have seats (not in pictures) they are decent, but should be redone. The trunk is filled with a lot of trim and stainless for the car.dash pieces and headliner poles.i have an extra set of front fenders that are included. i also have a new set of running boards. the radiator was cleaned and repaired at gregs radiator. it has an electric fan and a trans cooler on it. When i bought this car i took the body off and wire wheeled the frame. i primed and painted it gloss black rustoleum. the steering wheel is off a 1957 Mercury. car was wired using a universal wiring kit. fuse box is under drivers side. it has a new 2"exhaust system with tight glass packs installed by Meineke.car was loud! I used to drive this car with the old 460, then i decided to rebuild the engine for more horsepower and havent even started the new engine. Its been almost a year since i have worked on the car, so its time to make room. incase anyone is interested in the engine here are the details... ALL MACHINEWORK DONE AT FRANKS RACING MACHINE IN CLIFTON NJ. The block,crank,and rods are a 1969 Ford 460 with standard bore.the heads are 92cc from a thunderbird and were fully rebuilt with stainless valves,dipped and cleaned,3 way valve job,and bronze valve guides. the pistons are brand new sealed power flat top pistons.the cam is a brand new Lunati (have cam card sheet).new CAT quiet gear drive. new comp cams 5/16 high energy push rods.comp cams high energy stamped steel rockers. new melling high volume oil pump.new FEL pro gasket kit.new stainless bolt kit. new aluminum timing housing,new water pump and plate.new flex plate. intake is an edelbrock rpm aluminum.carb is a Holley 770 street avenger double pumper.trans is a stock C6 with a new 2,200 stall converter. like i said i am not looking to sell engine,trans,and converter. But i will entertain a reasonable offer.
