Vehicle Detail
2002 Honda Aquatrax F12 three seater with 102 hours total time. Boat is in great condition and runs excellent. Not new, but very nice. 100% original from the factory. Always dry docked and always serviced by Honda Dealer. Comes with Honda cover and owners manual. Non Turbo engine that will last! Unlike the two seater F12, this three seater is very stable and can easily handle up to three people. This auction is for the boat only, but I do have a 2006 galvanized performance double trailer in very good condition if the highest bidder is interested. I will not sell trailer unless it goes with the boat. The boat is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end the auction early if the reserve is not met. I will entertain any questions........ best of luck. On Aug-08-14 at 17:47:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had many requests for more pictures, so I've uploaded several more. I've also had a lot of questions about the boats history, so here goes..... I'm the second owner. The boat was originally purchased in Winter Haven Florida from a Honda PowerSports dealer. The original owner lived on one of the finger lakes(I forget which one) and kept it on a lift on a covered dock, which is why it has 0 sun damage or fading. He told me he used it very little, which is why it has such low hours. In the off season, the Honda dealer stored it for him and always did all the maintenance. Long story short, the gentlemen ended up moving off the lake and decided to sell it, so he took it back to the Honda dealer to sell on consignment. I had purchased a new F15 Turbo for my son and was looking for something a little more tame for my daughter when I ran onto this boat while visiting family in Florida. After looking at the condition and low hours, it was a no brainer..... I quickly bought it along with a double trailer and made the long trek north. A very popular question is... why are you selling it? Well, my kids seem to like wake boarding way better than jet skis, so it just sets on the dock all summer. I've also had some questions about why buy a Honda as opposed to another brand. I did a lot of homework before I purchased my F15 and I simply preferred the ride, performance and quality of the Honda. The Honda PWCs are powered by the same enignes that are in Honda cars, so the quality and durability is there. And the fit, form and function is eqivelent to the Honda motorcycles. It just seems like a great product to me. It is true that Honda has taken a break and no longer offers a new Aquatrax, but you can still pick up brand new left overs and you can still get every single part for these at Honda Powersports dealers or on line. Check out Honda of Troy. Finally, the condition of the boat. I'm very picky with my things and I would rate the boat as good condition over all or great condition for it's age. It's in terrific condition compared to the other used boats I looked at. There are two cosmetic blemishes, one on front of the hull which was just a nick in the gel coat, which was fixed with a Gel coat kit. You can see in the picture that its very small. Second, there is a blemish on the very back deck, which looks to be where it was hit by/with something that resulted in the gel coat cracking. Again, you can see it in the picutres. I consider both of these to be simple cosmetic blemishes and no big deal. I hope this helps... I would be happy to entertain more questions. Happy bidding.
