Up for bids is my 1978 Silver anniversary corvette . Original motor and tranny 21,000 miles . This is a true silver anniversary and not a clone . I bought this car 2 years ago and I am the third owner . The paint is in very good condition with only minor scratches (see photos) . The frame is rust free and the prior owners garaged the car . Comes with original am , fm stereo with built in CB radio . The interior is oyster . The seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears . I had the seats redyed which is the reason I have the seat covers on them in order to preserve the leather . I replaced the front carpet this year . All the gauges work except the clock . Original 350 L48 engine and transmission . I serviced the transmission and the filter as well as the rear end with GM fluid . The tranny runs flawlessly . The speedometer works and doesn't bounce around as I put in a new cable and cruise control unit . I replaced the shocks as well as the front calipers with new front brake lines . When I bought the car the air conditioning compressor was replaced as well as the fuel pump . I bought it from a dealer who only deals in classic cars and is very reputable . I have replaced the evaporator as well . The engine is unmolested and original . If parts were replaced they were replaced with original parts . The car was nice when I bought it and I have taken it to the next level and it is a quality driver . No cracks in the dash , no tears on the seats , carpet is perfect . Runs and drives excellent . I have receipts for all the work I have done to the car as well a some receipts from the previous owner showing items that have been replaced . This is a car you can just get in and drive . I have the original owners manual as well as other paperwork that came with the car originally . I also have the Michigan title transfer that shows the mileage when I bought the car . I have bought and sold cars and motorcycles on ebay , please look at my feedback . The radiator was replaced in 2010 along with some new suspension bushings up front Look at the pics , the engine bay is correct , the way it should be . Bone stock , original Look at the condition of some of the other engine compartments on the other cars listed here and you will realize how nice this car really is . I have had alot of questions about the air conditioner . The compressor was replaced 2 years ago . I have also replaced the evaporator 6 months ago and converted to R134 . I have receipts for all the work done . I usually drive with the t tops off and rarely use the air conditioner . Last time I drove it with the air conditioner it was ice cold . Everything is there .
