I purchased this vehicle in 2001 and have personally put 250,000 miles on it until I stopped driving it since last summer. It was running fine then, but runs rough now with a rich exhaust smell. It drives well and shifts smoothly. The 4x4 vacuum actuator will need replaced for true push-button 4-wheel-drive; otherwise the front axle can be left engaged during the winter months and the transfer case shifted by the push of a button like normal. I would not drive thousands of miles on the tires, but they will get you down the road for now. The spare is in fair condition and is not a doughnut but rather a real tire. The rear seats are in good condition and can be folded down to extend the cargo area. The tailgate handle and driver door handles are broken but can still be used. The digital odometer stopped working at approximately 296,000 miles and I have put another 5,000 to 10,000 on it since then. I changed the oil and filter every spring and fall. This is a well-used vehicle that still has life left in it. If the rough engine problem could be solved easily (which I believe it can - I just don't have the time or expertise), this is a good deal for the price. It was running smoothly and gave me 20+ MPG when I parked it last year. Local delivery within 50 miles is a possibility. Payment by cashier's check, money order, or cash in person.
