Vehicle Detail
This is a 1953 F-100 Ford pickup built in 1990. It iws a Half breed street rod. It has a 1977 Nova front clip, 1977 Olds 10 Bolt Rearend, 1976 Olds 88 engine with a 350 transmission. 1965 Mustang shifter, 1979 GMC Master cylinder, 1980 Olds Cutlas brake booster, 1975 Comero stearing colume, 1981 Olds Radiator, Buick rallie wheels , 1979 Kenworth Heater/ AC unit. The Tires 235 75R15 were replaced in 2012. It has new door latches and strikers in 2014. The drivers door glass is cracked but i have a new glass and a set of reproduction window channels that go with the truck. The engine and transmission were rebuilt when they were installed and still run good. The transmission pan gasket drips a little. The transmission shifts good. The truck has power stearing and brakes and they work good. It has single exhaust. The truck has a electronic tach and Speedometer. It has a GM tilt steering colume but no turn signals hooked up. There are spare parts that go with the truck some new some used. The body is straight and solid. The Cobalt Blue paint is faded and there are stone chips on the front and other paint defects arround the truck. The camper rear door plexiglass is cracked. The tailgate was overlayed with stained wood and the Ford logo painted on. The inside is nice and the seat was covered until reciently. The carpet on the left side has a stain that the floormat covers mostly. The truck has a AM/FM cassette Radio that works. The ignition switch is on the dash with pushbutton start. Wiring was all redone when the truck was rebuilt. The radiator was replaced in 2005. The truck drives good and sets the road fine. It is pretty low in the front at 6 1/2 inches to the bottom of the bumper. The truck is showing its age and has lots of patina. It could use a paint job and other freshening up but is still a good driver. The engine has a mount on it for a GM R-4 AC compressor and the KW Heater/Ac unit is inside but there is no compressor, Condenser or hoses hooked up. The battery is located in a box under the pasenger floor with a metal cover under the carpet. A $500 non refundable deposite is due within 48 hours of the auction closing.
