You are looking at a matching numbers, silver anniversary, 1978 Corvette with the desirable L82 engine (350, 220hp) and T-tops. It has the turbo hydra-matic transmission. Also has the original radio with the rare CB radio option and power antenna that still works. Interior is in great shape with oyster color and leather seats. Interior is in great shape but of course being basically a white interior, does show some discoloration (floor mats are new with silver anniversary emblem). Newer tires and good brakes. Paint still has a lot of gleam - some nicks and chips in front and side of car but what you would expect for a car that is 36 years old. Power antenna works but needs new fuse and lights work but are somewhat lazy. Passenger side window sticks and armrest needs attention. I am not a professional mechanic but in my opinion, car is great and only needs minor attention to have it perfect. Engine is matching numbers. For example, engine ID is V0123CMS and the engine vin derivative is 18S420622. Car was manufactured on February 16, 1978 and you will see that the engine ID predates the car manufactured date and derivative matches up with the VIN. Car is mostly original. For example, beyond the engine, the car has the original alternator, interior, radio with CB, spare tire, windows (which helps support the fact the car was not in an accident), power windows, driver and passenger mirrors, gas cap and lid, wiper blades, etc. At time of listing mileage is 60,391 which to the best of my knowledge, I believe to be correct. Overall, the car is in great shape and starts on the first try every time. Drives straight, shifts smooth and is a comfortable ride. Recent work within the last year includes major tune-up (air filter, PCV valve, breather, oil and fileter, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, spark plug and wires and idle and timing adjusted), new fuel pump, changed coolant and changed transmission fluid.
