Up for bid is a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI This car does run, but does have an issue. This car has an engine power issue. The car seems like it does not have full power on hills, and sometimes is down to around 40 mph on steep hills. I do not know if this is because of the timing belt being out of adjustment, the fuel pump may need rebuilt or maybe a bad injector, I don't now but I'm sure it's fixable if you know more about diesels than me. I replaced the fuel filter, but this did not seem to help. I had the timing belt replaced about 1000 miles ago. Even with this problem I used this vehicle regularly as awork vehicle until I got a jeep erlier this year, it runs fine except for the power issue, and does not use oil. The tires are about 80% on average. It has a sun roof, but it does not latch properly when opened, so I didn't use it, and if you do you will need to repair it, it's probably minor. The car also has some scuffs and scratches on the rear bumper, and a dent in the rear passenger side door and fender. Brakes were done at 125000 miles. Car is a great little car that gets around 35 - 40 mpg and would probably make someone a great work vehicle. Car has a clear West Virginia title. Because of the engine issue with this car, it is being listed without reserve and will sell to the winning bidder.
