I bought this truck last fall from the original owner to use for plowing snow and hauling loads on our Hobby Farm. It worked well over the winter, but it is really too big to easily plow our driveway, so I'm trading down to something smaller. The truck starts easy and runs strong, and would make a good work or farm vehicle. I recently loaded a full pallet of landscaping blocks (~3000 pounds) on the bed and drove it home 20 miles from the store with no problems. The Good - The 7.5 foot Meyers Snow Plow lifts and angles correctly.The engine is a Jasper remanufactured units with 43K miles on it.I installed a new Starter, Muffler and back rear Leaf Spring Hangers and Shackles this spring.The previous owner replaced the Alternator and Battery in 2012. The Bad -There is some rust on lower door panels and a decent amount of rust on the chassis frame, as shown in the pictures.The windshield is cracked from the middle across to the driver's side, but does not leak.The vinyl bench seat is torn and patched with duct tape.The OD switch on shifter lever is broken off.The previous owner said the rear gas tank didn't work, but I put a new cap on it and have run the truck on the rear tank for several minutes, so it may be okay.The previous owner was told it needed a new catalytic convertor, and it does sound like there is an exhaust leak in that area.
