1949 Chevrolet Pickup 1949 Chevrolet Pickup Project 1949 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton. This pickup has been parked in the same driveway for the last 10 years. We tried to buy it 10 years ago and the owner finally decided to sell. It is a running, driving pickup that still needs the brakes repaired. It has split rim wheels with rotten tires and matching factory hubcaps. The drivers window and back glass are cracked and need replacing. It is flat glass and an easy fix. The windows roll up and down. Small amount of rust in the cab corners. Gas bottle for camping. It appears to be the original seat that needs new covers. It has the factory push-button radio and add on turn signals. Floor mounted manual transmission shifter. Chrome dash, possibly a Deluxe model. Floor starter. Chrome grille. Heavy duty grille guard, good bumper. Optional outside sunvisor. Outside radio antenna. Good running boards both sides, heavy duty rear bumper. Solid metal floor in the bed. Current Oklahoma tag and title. Five window pickup. Outside air vents. The engine sounds good, original oil bath air cleaner serviced. Rebuilt starter cost $165.00. New 6-volt battery. New coil and spark plugs. Exhaust sounds good. We have not driven the pickup because of the brakes. This is a no-reserve sale. Additional repairs will be done according to the price.
