1970 Mercedes 6.3,car is not currently running & needs to be restored the body is solid & straight it has been in the high desert in Nevada its whole life,the only rust area is on the drivers side rear fender lip from a sprinkler hitting that area where the car had been parked since 1998.All the jack points & rocker panels are in good condition,there is a small dent in the upper drivers side rear fender other than that there is no body damage.The longtime owner stopped driving the car in 98 because the fuel injection pump needed to be rebuilt.The suspension has been blocked on the bump stops to keep the car up,the air bags will inflate but system does not hold air.The car has a new dash top($600.)factory sunroof & becker stereo,cassette deck.This 6.3 was one of the display cars Mercedes had at the 1969 Frankfurt auto show & was purchased there by the local Reno Nevada, Porsche dealer who kept it for about a year & then sold it to a doctor that I bought it from,he was 89 years old & going into assisted living & his kids were going to scrap the car because they couldn't figure out how to move it.I saved it & would like to pass it on to somebody to restore so I will start the bidding at $1500. & see where it goes.Please feel free to ask any questions & I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
