Here is my gorgeous MACH 1 that has been restored over a period of just over a year. It is fresh off the rotisserie and ready to go. Before you judge this car by it's location in N. Y. and figure it was a rust bucket, it has only been here for a year during it's restoration. I purchased this car from a lady in South Carolina where it spent most of it's life. There was no rust in the structure of this car. The only rust was in the floor under the drivers feet and some in the rear quarter panels. They were professionally replaced and almost impossible to tell. This is a true MACH 1 and not a clone. This is almost a numbers matching car. According to the Marti report it came with a 3 speed transmission. It has the 4 speed top loader and the tag indicates it is a 1970 transmission which may have been installed at the dealer in 1970 or may be original from the factory. The Marti reports are not always 100 % accurate. The engine is a 351 Cleveland 4V version that has been rebuilt to stock specifications and runs smooth and strong. The transmission was checked out and is just like new and shifts smoothly with the factory installed Hurst shifter. The rear end is a 9" with 3.25 - 1 ratio. The odometer reads 61,541 which is probably correct because it was in storage many years. This car has been driven about 10 miles since the restoration. This car was almost completely disassembled on the rotisserie and anything that was questionable was rebuilt or replaced. It originally came with the dog dish hubcaps and trim rings which will go with the car in case someone would prefer that over the aluminum mag wheels. It has all new dual exhaust with the correct MACH 1 tips. All new shocks and brakes all around. Most of the chrome parts are new. The new paint color is grabber blue acrylic enamel. The new interior is black vinyl. There is no warrantee on this car. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required through PAYPAL at the end of the auction within 24 hours. The balance needs to be paid in full within one week. The best way preferred is wire transfer or cash.
