In this auction is a driveway find ( 1983 GMC Sierra 1500 SWB ). I have owned this truck for 12 years but it has been sitting in my driveway for the last 4 years. This is a good running vehicle that needs some TLC to be a great truck in a new home. It features a 305 V/8 with a 4bbl edelbrock 1406 ( 600 cfm ) carb on a edelbrock performer aluminum manifold, MSD HEI ignition module, coil, and Accel wires. A/C complete, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering with a grant steering wheel, upgraded alternator, chrome dress up kit, dual switchable tanks. Transmission is a ( TCI ) 400 turbo with a 2.75 low first gear and a 2200 stall converter. B&M trans cooler with steel braided cooler lines and a aux fan in cooler to control trans temp. TCI aluminum deep pan and filter was also added. Cat-Back dual exhaust with chrome tips and a dynomax muffler echos a nice mellow tone. Interior features power windows, power door locks, updated stereo with a cd changer. The bed has a canvas cover to help protect the bed and it's contents. It rides on 15X8 slotted aluminum wheels with 255-70-15 front and 285-70-15 on the rear with a 2' drop shackle kit and LMC catalogs to help with your restoration. The truck was originally Navy Blue and was Painted in 2004 with a new Goodmark Cowl steel hood. This is a running and driving vehicle but I would suggest towing for maintenance reasons. The cons; This vehicles needs the following; Interior headliner, driver's door regulator, passenger window motor, A/C condenser, right tank sender for fuel gauge operation, rust forming in the door jams and right lower rear quarter panel due to sitting thru mother natures elements, carpet worn on the driver side, and seat has slight tearing on the drivers side, vent windows locks needs spring washers. Additional parts included with sale is an aluminum upgraded radiator with pads and dual electric fans, new window regulator for drivers side, new window motor for passenger side, Sony stereo to replace the inop unit in truck, dash bezel, original taillights and rear leaf spring hangers also included.
