Hello I'm selling my sons 1966 Mustang since he just purchased a newer 1990 model. Since I do not like games, I will describe the vehicle as best as possible. This is a base model with an inline 6, with original carburetor. The carburetor is original and will eventually need a rebuilt or replacement one, we upgraded the distributor to a DUI distributor, new wires, new fuel filter, aluminum radiator, and several other items. He also added several aftermarket chrome pieces. This vehicle starts up and runs good, it has been his daily driver to and from high school and part time job for the last 2 years. Mechanically the car needs new brakes and possibly a master cylinder, while it brakes good, it loses a lot of brake fluid. We installed a flowmaster exhaust also, the transmission is solid and shifts very good. The rear end is stock and has air shocks installed. Speedometer shows 39183 miles, but is has probably turned over several times. The body looks good and has won several car shows, but it is beginning to bubble in several places. The vehicle seems to have several areas with bondo and fiberglass, especially the doors, as can be seen in the pictures. The under carriage looks solid except underneath the seats were the seats bolt to the ground. The weather stripping and chrome was badly installed by the previous owner and while they are good, from close up it looks crappy, especially the windshield on the passenger side. The interior is in very good condition, we upgraded to wood dash and wood gauge bezel. Headlights, taillights, brake lights work, only the rear turn signals work, horn does not work. No A/C installed, all gauges work. I have attempted to describe to the vehicle to the best of my ability and while I would drive it anywhere with confidence, I do not recommend taking a cross country trip with it, since I do not know if the engine has ever been rebuilt.
