I will do my best to describe this car but please contact me if you want to inspect it in person. Car is sold as is, where is. Here's a 2005 Mini Cooper S in nice shape. Shifts fine, brakes are good, steering doesn't pull left or right, tracks nicely, plenty of power, nice cold AC. Clutch is good, 6 speeds. Really does have that go kart handling, almost unreal the way you can take corners. Great accelleration and lovely supercharger sound. From the stack of maintenance invoices, it would seem that the car was well cared for. Example: at 102,00 miles/two years ago, the clutch and flywheel were replaced with new units. Has an audio aux input installed so you can plug in your phone or MP3 or iPod. Half tank of gas. Paint is good, has some scratches and dings as one would expect with a car with this amount of mileage. Tires are about 30% remaining, except right rear which is maybe 15%. They all hold air and the tire inflation indicator is off. Check engine light is on, and it's showing only one code, which is P2096, lean condition at oxygen sensor. From what I've read, this could be leaking downpipe, bad sensor, leaky intake. Worst case would be replace cat/downpipe with aftermarket part which goes for $300 plus labor.; OEM part is $850. I inspected the downpipe, cat, and exhaust and found no leak. Could be a bad O2 sensor. Left rear tail light has small hole which has been patched with clear tape. Front bumper is missing chin spoiler and has been attached with ABS flanges; solid fix. Left front running light (not turn signal) doesn't light. Crack in left front turn signal lens but turn signal works. Tear in driver's seat bolster. Front passenger seat does not recline; seat bracket was broken and was welded in upright position. Rear must be accessed from driver's seat which does recline and tilt forward. Other than that, it's a nice, clean, fast car. Please study the photos.
