Excellent 2002 BMW 330Ci Convertible. Electric Red with Sand Leather Interior. Sharpest Color combination the car was offered in. I purchased this car new in December 2002 from Brecht BMW in Escondido. I have lovely maintained this car here in San Diego since then. All scheduled maintenance has been done by Brecht BMW now called BMW of Escondido and European Automotive Center in Poway California. I have all full service records and all receipts. Just had car inspected by BMW of Escondido during one of their Summer Service Events where they put your car on a lift and go over the car with you. The service technician told me the car checked out perfect. Really a super car that I have cherished through the years. Always garaged, no weather issues of course here in San Diego. A copy of the window sticker is attached showing all the options, which includes the Premium Package, Rain sensing windshield wipers, heated seats, Bi-xenon Headlights, and Automatic Transmission with both Standard and Sports modes. I added a XM radio which was wired through the six disc CD player in the trunk. It sounds amazing through the Harman Kardon 11 speaker Premium Sound System. The XM was professionally installed by Lajolla Audio for Crystal Clear sound. When I bought the car in 2002 you had a choice of a cassette player in the dash or a CD player. Since I was getting the six disc CD player in the truck I elected to go with the cassette player in the dash. Really no defects to speak about. Car has average wear for 12 year old car. Some minor chips on the front hood and the windshield from everyday use. There is a small tear, really small on the inside of the driver’s door and on the inside fabric of the convertible top. I included a picture of the very slight tear on the door. The tear on the inside fabric of the top is also minor and since it is black it is difficult to capture in a photo. At times the "Service Engine Soon" light will come on. Its nothing and I have had it checked out with both BMW of Escondido and European Automotice Center. Its being set off by a code that says "Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temp", however the Coolant Temp is Not Below the Thermostat Regulating Temp. It just a computer sensor sending the message in error. It would cost $500 to fix to replace the sensor located in the Coolant System. I have a OBD2 Scanner that I will include with the car, and when it does come on I just attach the scanner and reset the light. Very simple.Another seller probably won’t even mention these items but I’m a long term Ebayer with a 100% rating and they are things I would want someone to note if I was buying their car. Overall an excellent car. I pull up in it and people think it’s a couple of years old, no kidding. Check out the photos and review the history and if you want a real classic convertible car that is a one owner car, then this is the car you want.
