This is a very rare authentic 1973 Jeep CJ-5 "Super Jeep." It has been meticulously restored to original specifications and details. It has its original factory issued 304 V8 with power steering and power brakes. These were rare options at the time this model was produced. Most of the Super Jeeps had 258 6 cylinder engines with manual steering and brakes. It was last registered and inspected in August of 2012 and still continues to run and drive great. There is not a lot of information available on the Super Jeep other than the copies of a few articles written about them at the time, They were only manufactured for one year in 1973 and it is rumored that only a few hundred of the models were made. Everything works besides the gas and oil pressure gauge. I'm not sure why but the previous owner reset the odometer during restoration so the actual mileage of the Jeep is unknown. Since the restoration, 420 miles have been put on it. The Jeep does not have a roof, and the original style white soft top is almost impossible to find.
