For your consideration is a 1978 Chevy Step side, It can not be driven because of the exhaust system, it is VERY loud ! This truck needs 4 things. 1. engine rebuild, it runs but there is a low end knock. 2. a complete exhaust system from the manifold back but you may want to put Headers on it being the engine needs a rebuild 3. paint, it is painted with rattle can paint. it was painted quickly so it could be insured and i could drive it last year when i needed it. Some of the paint is flaking now. 4. It needs a little more rust removal in the cab section. The rear bed and frame are rust free, I removed the bed, installed all new wood and Stainless steel bolts and Stainless steel bed strips. The frame was scraped and painted with "Por-15" This truck has a good transmission and a "Posi-Trac" rear. The tires are fairly new with about 1500 miles on them. The tail-gate is a reproduction. The brake system is fairly new, 2 front calipers, pads and shoes, brake lines are all new front and rear. I sold this truck 3 months ago and the buyer never picked it up, he also lost his deposit, so please be serious about this purchase.
