Vehicle Detail

This car is ready to use right now. Get your vert driving time in before the summer ends! 3 years ago the car was brought to my shop for a suspension drop, disk brakes, new interior and a buff / polish. Highlights include: 6" beam, with dropped spindles and Porsche pattern disk brakes in the front. Rebuilt stock rear brakes with Porsche pattern adapters in the rear were eventually used as the rear disk kit we planned on using has clearance issues. New interior includes, blasted and painted seat frames with new padding and covers, new German Square weave carpet the rubber mats which were in good original shape were saved and re-used. Door panels and headliner were also in good original shape and left alone. The paint is an older respray that is darn close to the original color. When we had it at the shop a few years ago it was polished out and it looks awesome. There are some rock chips, scratches, dents, and dings, but nothing major, and the car car has never been hit / wrecked. The top is decent, not perfect, but it keeps the sun off you when needed and will kept small amounts of water out as well. Definitely not "water proof" by any stretch. All window frames are in good shape and operate as they should, door seals and other rubber pieces are in nice shape, scraper rubber could be replaced, but works just fine with the overall "original look" of the car. Pans / battery tray and other usual vert "problem areas" are clean and solid. When our customer decided he wanted to sell the car, we did not hesitate to buy it. Knowing the work we put into it on top of how nice and solid it was beforehand, it was a no-brainer. When we got it to the shop the stock 40hp engine was out and the stock trans had been replaced with a 4.12 R&P Pro Street Rancho box with mid mount in preparation for a larger engine with more HP. We decided the original 40hp engine was the best way to go for a summer driver, so we went through the top end, converted it to 12v, rebuilt the carb, added a new fuel pump, new fuel lines, and a full tune up. Now it is a driver. The fires up and idles every time. On the colder days, the choke even works as it should!. At some point a full rebuild or engine upgrade might be worthwhile, but for now it's great! The Pro Street trans was left alone in case someone wanted to "go bigger" in the future, but it works just fine with the 40hp too. Cruising the freeway at +/- 60 MPH is no problem. Around town driving is even better. Wipers and radio have been converted to 12v as well and work great. Horn works as well! The car will be sold with repro chrome Fuchs. 4.5's in the front with 125's and 5.5's in the rear with 195/60's. Tire are Firestones all the way around. Shipping anywhere in the US included with the "Buy It Now" price of $22,000
