We took on the consignment to restore the vehicle. We put over $4,000 in labor and $3,500 in materials into restoring this car.Engine was bored .30 over, new pistons and rings Crank turned .10 on rods, .10 on mains and new Clevite 77 bearings were installedFactory cam, lifters, valve springs, valves and Clevite 77 cam bearing kit were installedHead was reworked and new valve guides and seats were installedNew clutch kit containing pressure plate, disk and throw out bearing were installedNew starterNew factory alternator2 new U-jointsAll new front end bearings and rear end bearings were installedNew master cylinder, wheel cylinderNew front and rear brakesNew aluminum radiatorNew beltsNew hosesNew tires The mechanics of the convertible top work, it just needs to be recovered. The upholstery needs to be redone. The trim around the lower half of the passenger headlight to the center of the lower grill is missing. The body has rust on lower quarter panels that need to be redone. The car needs to be repainted to be a number one car. We rebuilt the engine, rebuilt the transmission, resurfaced the flywheel. We did all the mechanical work and rebuilt the chassis from the front end to the rear end on this vehicle. Unfortunately the customer ran out of money to complete the car. His loss is your gain!
