Straight car, always well-looked after and taken care of since it was new. Bought new by the family of a girl I went to high school with. I have known the car since my first jealous twinge that somebody actually got to drive this when we got our licenses. Her father was a successful lawyer [mine a car salesman!] and he had it taken for service at the selling dealer regularly. He was a good Dad. It has ever been kept outside. Always garaged, and I have kept it in a barn near my house since buying from her two years ago. Black vinyl roof, black paint in amazingly good shape, black leather interior. I am told he had the perforated leather redone on the driver's seat about 10 years ago but cannot say for sure. Interior will take you right back to 1971 and looks fresh. Perfect car to restore, or take it to a cruise in as is and be proud to show it off without lifting a finger, really great candidate for a GSX clone as it is solid. Frame, floors and trunk solid as a rock. Trunk has a little surface rust but no meaningful loss of metal. In his later years Dad put an electronic ignition on it for reliability and liked to drive it to local cruise ins for morning coffee on the weekend. Car can be seen and driven in South Windsor CT. Once I have the cash, you can have the car. I have the title from the daughter but Connecticut no longer issues titles on cars this age.
