1986 Mustang GT 5.0 5spd manual for sale. The motor is all stock, has new coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, TFI module and TPS. There is a slight leak at the rear main seal as seen in the pictures. The exhaust is stock to the cats and then new straight pipes back from there. The rear end and Trac-lok is freshly rebuilt with 3.73 gears and new Summit axles and seals. Tires are at about 50%. The transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is still tight. The interior is in pretty fair shape. No cracks in the dash, but the center console cover does have a crack. A couple small defects in the seats as seen in the closeup pics. There is a radio/cassette player that works fine, but is missing the knobs and is not fully mounted. The headliner is fair, there are a couple small tears as pictured. There is no rust on this car. The paint is in fairly poor shape, quite oxidized. There is a keying mark on the hood and the GT decal is flaking away. The sides and back are better, but with a few dings and small dents. This car has the optional fog lights with Marchal covers and they do work. It also has the optional sport seats and is a rare factory A/C delete. I have a lot of the original paperwork that came with the sale, I am just the third owner of this car. All in all a nice driving, low mileage 4-eyed fox! I have a set of Mickey Thompson valve covers and an upper and lower intake from a 94 Cobra that I will throw in if wanted. Buyer to pay and arrange all shipping if needed.
