This a for a very RARE 1961 Chevrolet Impala 4 door Hardtop for parts only.This car is Loaded with alot of very rare and hard to find chevy options.It would make a Great donor car to use the options on another car,such as a bubble top or a convertible.This car was Bought new in Columbus Ga at Muskogee Chevrolet and has always been within 100 miles of that area.It was parked in 1985 and his been off the road since.I was told it was a 348 big block car originaly with a Turbo glide trans.That engine combo is long gone but the steering column still shows the turbo glide shift pattern.There is a complete 350 4 brl and auto trans that is just sitting in the engine compartment.I do not know its condition but it appears complete and judging from the valve cover breather hole and super long radiator hose,I believe it is out of a school bus or large ton and a half truck.It could be a 4 bolt main motor if that is the case. This car still has the complete Factory A/C system intact with the original Compressor and brackets along with the pulleys.It still has Factory power steering and Power brakes with a NOS booster and master cylinder in the trunk that was never installed.See Trunk photo.It has Power windows and Tinted glass.All Factory green tinted EZ EYE glass is still good but the windshield has a crack.The dash is great shape, uncut and still has the original push button am radio and perfect gauges.All the a/c controls and duct are in great shape.The glove box still has its liner.The rare Impala steering wheel is in very good shape.The interior is original and still intact but ruff.The front seat has been sold,so NO front seat.The body is straight but does have some rust from sitting mainly the floor boards,trunk floor and trunk lid and trunk weather strip channel.The doors still solid and open and shut like new.The body is very straight.The rockers are good as is the wheel wells.The front clip is very good.**The hood is perfect with NO rust thru.The passenger fender is in great shape and rust free.The drivers one is rust free but has some slight damage that can be fixed.The grill is almost perfect.It has both fender guides and the correct factory rear antenna with no pitting.It also has a day night mirror.The X frame is in excellent shape.The car rolls easily and will come as you see it minus the front seat only.The parts on the car or worth way more than my reserve.
