1974 Corvette L-82 Matching Numbers 4-Speed Corvette for no reserve auction. The highest bidder gets the car. I will try to describe the car as honest as possible. To the best of my knowledge: The Corvette needs cosmetic TLC. From around 20 feet the car looks good. If you are getting closer you will see some scratches, burned clearcoat and some other defects in the paint. The body is in good condition. I couldn't find any signs of body repair. No bondo in the wheel wells or any signs of fiberglass repair. The gaps are looking good. The interior is completely original and need new door panels and a dash board. The T-Top covers are missing. The seats are fine and the carpet could use a good cleaning. Now the good stuff. The car just received a tune up and runs great. There is no problem with the engine or tranny. The A/C compressor works but it needs a recharge to get cold. Tires are new. The frame and undercarriage look really good. I couldn't find any rust damage. Of course you will find some surface rust. In my opinion is the 74 the last great one of the C3's. If you are a serious bidder you will agree with me. I do have a brand new luggage rack that goes with the car. Headlights are going up and down like new. With all that said, you can get in the car and drive it as is and work on it to make it a nice show car or daily driver. Where do you find a 74 - Matching Numbers - 4 Speed - L82 Corvette in almost original condition this days? It's getting harder and harder to find good stuff. I was told that the car has original 89000 miles but I do not have any paperwork to prove it. Clean title that is ready to sign over into your name. I will be happy to help you with transportation.
