This bus is painted like the Fillmore from the movie CARS. it is a 69 campmobile. it has a rebuilt single port motor and rebuilt 4 speed tranny. the vw runs great! all the front brakes parts are new, pads,cylinders,hoses,lines and a new master cylinder. the back brakes still need done, so it stops like a bus, not on a dime. lights all work along with the wipers with new blades, turn signals work when they want to. glass is all good. floor pans have been welded in and the rust cut out, along with any other rust on the body that was found. tires are like new. the pop up tent is original and any tears have been repaired. the bus has a little play in the steering, but we drive it all over the place, to the shows and the drive in here in town. always get a lot of looks and pictures. hate to sell but have other things that have to be done. it's a simple bus and is a lot of fun to drive. i'm sure i forgot something, so email me with any questions. i can get pic of the motor if you would like, i see i don't have any in my computer as of now, but it looks like a rebuilt vw engine. the engine is a 1969 single port. i have a dual port with dual carbs that needs rebuilt if anyone is interested in it for a few more dollars. i knew i would forget stuff. the bus comes with original manuals an extra dash and front seats, itcomes with a new passenger door seal. the windshield and back window have new seals installed. it had new front wheel bearings installed. it does have one problem that i know and that is it want to pop out of 4th gear at times, i've talked to some vw guys and they tell me that the shifter probably need adjusted. i have a bungy cord that i put on it if i'm going down the freeway just to make sure it doesn't pop out. and as you know the bus is sold as is with no warrenties what so ever. also , the dog house area was left original and not painted, it has the original door panels, headliner, and seats. and rubber matt, stearing wheel. there is a nickel size place on the windshield as you can see in the pics.
