***1940 FORD TUDOR STREET ROD ALL STEEL TWO TONE PAINT*** ***350/350 PS TILT AC --- RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT ***READY TO ENJOY*** This is a 1940 Ford tudor sedan built into a nice running and driving street rod. You can drive it anywhere and the owner has driven it on several long trips. The owner asked me to list because he is moving to Florida and needs to downsize. He bought this 40 pretty much as you see it in 1997. The body is gray and pink with pinstripes and a couple of Pink Panther graphics. Interior is gray tweed accented with some pink piping. Interior has tilt wheel, air conditioning, stereo and lots of room in the back. There is a spare and the battery in the trunk. Engine is a great running 350 Chevy with Holley carburetor on an Edelbrock intake with headers and mild cam. Transmission is a Turbo 350 with shift kit. Rear is a 10-bolt GM on leaf springs. We think the gear is a 3:73. The front end is Mustang 2 style rack and pinion. There are disc brakes on front. Wiring is by Ron Francis. It has Goodyear Eagle tires with plenty of tread. Car sits on the original boxed frame. You can drive it home. Email any question and if you'd like to speak to the owner and sit up a time to see the car just ask for his number. Body is two tone pink and gray with chrome KMC wheels. 40 taillights have blue dots. Passenger rear fender has a recessed power antenna  The 40 coupe has just the right rake. All four side windows will roll down. You can drive it home. Tires are Goodyear Eagles. Famous 40 Ford front end Dual exhaust sounds sweet. Trunk lid has graphic of the Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau cartoon. Owner bought car with graphics. Interior has buckets seats. Upholstery with gray tweed with pink piping. Dash is painted gray like the body. Column is tilt. Seats are very comfy and have seat belts. Seats look great. Tilt column and full instrumentation - everything works fine. That is a SunPro tachometer. Shifter has a piston knob. It has a Jensen AM/FM/CD stereo and Ford AC unit under dash. The owner says the AC worked fine last summer but should be checked in case it needs a charge. Original dash still has ash trays on both ends Back seat Headliner Passenger door panel Driver door panel Engine is a 350 Chevy that fires right up and runs great. Engine has Holley carburetor on an Edelbrock intake. It has a mild hydraulic cam and wrapped headers. Valve covers are aluminum. Car has air conditioning. Original Ford plate on firewall. Car has dependable HEI ignition Edelbrock valve covers, wrapped headers and pink plug wires Holley four barrel on Performer intake Metal covers the area between the grill and radiator. Note temp gauge in cap. AC compressor Engine is clean Underside of hood with lights Trunk opens and closes easily Underside of trunk lid Trunk has a covered spare and the battery box is covered. Note the electric opener for the trunk. VIN is 185760321 on the clear title. Owner has had the car since 1997.
