Up for auction is this nice little "Met" Hardtop. All original California 'black plate' car. This car has never seen winter snow & salt. The underside floor pans and rockers are in excellent condition with "zero" rust-through. Hard to find in this condition! The car still has the original paint that is in pretty nice shape. It has a few very small chips and dings, however, nothing major. Very good patina. The color really catches your eye. The glass is nice and the windows roll up & down good. The doors close nice & tight. The tires are all brand new. The car starts good and runs smooth and responsive. And at 63032 miles - this is fairly low miles. The speedo cable just broke so a new one will need to be installed. I just installed a new clutch disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing along with new ring gear. Also installed new master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. The brakes work good now with all new parts including cylinders and lines. The lights all work including the high & low beam, blinkers and brake lights. The original horn blows also. The interior is nice with new back seat, headliner, door panels and new front seat covers. This is a NICE looking, GOOD running and stopping little 'Met' - dubbed "the cutest car ever built" and I think they were right.! While driving it around it always gets the 'thumbs up'.
