1941 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton Long Bed Pickup. Chevy guys eat your heart out with this pre war Art Deco series Chevy truck! This will be a very nice project truck!! This truck was a barn find that was found while looking at another car. I had to talk the previous owner out of it over many conversations!! It had been sitting in his barn over 20 years!! There is definitely some rust on this truck. On the bed, fenders, and some places on the cab. Most of the original metal seems to be here but as I said it does have some rust. The rear fenders are in the bed of the truck. However the wood floor is completely gone so the bed sides and tailgate are the only thing left. The bed is not on the truck right now. The previous owner told me that at some point the common upgrade for a 6 cylinder 235 engine was put in this truck that's what's in it now. I'm not sure what year. But of course owner said it ran good when it was parked!! When we loaded it on the car hauler the driver side rear tire was locked up it wouldn't roll. Not sure if the brakes are stuck or what. I have not touched it since we rescued it from the barn!! We planned on building this truck into a half ton short bed hotrod. See our amateur drawing rendering!! Wether you go back original, or hotrod you should get all of the money you put in this truck back out or maybe even more. These 40's and 50's trucks are very hot right now!!
