1970 BMW R-Series

This is a 1970 BMW R 75/5. It is a project bike and does not run. I ran great when I disassembled it to have the frame painted. The bike was rebuilt by a factory certified dealer in Minnesota. The engine is tight and bored .020 over with bigger valves. I have put well less than 1000 miles on it over the years. I do not have the carburetors.The fuel tank is coated inside with epoxy sealer and I have the rubber knee pads. The seat is a Corbin Gunslinger The original exhaust is still functional but a new Epco stainless system, with mufflers is included. The wheels are Lester magnesium and are shod with new Bridgestones that have never seen the road. The brakes are the hard racing versions. Also included is a pair Krauser saddle bags with the frame. These bags are white but have been painted black.I dropped the oil temp dip stick years ago and cracked the glass but it still works.Included are a Haynes Manual and a factory manual and several specialty tools. Also included is a second gearbox that is in excellent shape inside but needs the "clutch fork repair". The buyer must pick up within 30 day of purchase.
