1959 Willys Pickup Truck. 4x4 235 Chevrolet 6-cylinder engine, runs great. Converted to 12 volt. All drivetrain is original to the truck except engine. There is an adapter plate installed between engine and transmission to run the Chevrolet engine. Very little rust. Brakes are pumped up and working. Has chrome grill trim in nice shape. Transmission/ transfer case and 4x4 system works as it should. Truck has a steel framed, wood floor flatbed on it. Wood floor could stand to be replaced. Bed has uprights so you can install side boards on it. Has original key to lock/unlock doors, ignition has been replaced so it has 2 keys. Tires have great tread but are weather checked. I would not use them on the highway. 56,000 miles. Carb has either been replaced or rebuilt. Looks new. Seat needs recovered. Some glass cracked but is all flat glass and fairly inexpensive to replace. Has tow bar installed on front bumper. Has 5 original rims included. This old truck is in very good shape. There is very little rust. I have driven it around quite a bit. With the 235 chevy engine, it has quite a bit of pep! Steering is very tight. With new tires, I believe this thing would drive as if it were new. Could use some wiring work on the lights etc. Little history on the truck: Bought new by a orchard or vineyard in Washington. This was the reason for the flatbed. They owned it until 1978. I am the 3rd owner the best I can tell. If you have any questions, you can call me at 605-858-3400 anytime. If you want to come and see it before you bid, you are welcome to come and drive it around.
