Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a very clean 1985 Dodge 1 ton 4x4 (W-350) straight rear axle pickup truck. This truck is fairly rare being a regular car, single rear axle 1 ton and could be considered a survivor. It is wearing all of its original paint, trim, interior wheels, etc. The only thing that has been changed from original is the engine (and rear bumper). The original 360 c.i. engine was swapped out for a new 360 13K miles ago. The rest of the truck is original. The truck is originally from Parker, Colorado and is now in Wyoming. It has spent its whole life out west, resulting in a very rust free truck. The truck has a 360 c.i. engine with a 4 barrel carb, 4 speed manual trans and a Dana 60 rear/44 front with auto locking hubs (that work great) and 4.10 gears Everything on the truck works except the A/C ( I assume, I have never tried it). Don’t know what is wrong (if anything), never looked into it. All the parts appear to be there though. The truck runs and drives great! No smoke, runs smooth and quite. Runs, steers and stops like these trucks did when they were new. I do not know the actual mileage… although I figure 113K should be about right. It’s a really nice truck. Very nice, clean original truck, I would be comfortable driving this truck anywhere New Clutch at the same time the engine was replaced, the windshield has a couple stone chips in it, and the rearview mirror on the windshield is missing. All the lights work, turn signals work, back up lights work, reverse lights work, cab light works. Brakes work great, tires have good life left in them, the original radio even works. I do not know because I have not lifted the seat cover up, but I assume the seat has rips. It does sit really nice thought and does not sag. I have may receipts tat have followed the maintenance of the truck over the years. This includes the new engine and clutch. Engine has approx. 13K on it. Feel free to get a hold of me with any questions.
