1974 Honda MT250. NO RESERVE ON THE BIKE! First year production for the bike.early build date of 8/73. VIN MT2501021997. 4634 miles. Very good original Condition! From the front. Original fender and front mudflap. Has aftermarket rear mudflap added manufactured by Rubbermaid!! Wheel is straight, all spokes tight, tire holds air, bearings tight, and rim looks good with lite rust. Forks are straight with one spot of discoloration, Fork seals are fine. Steering head is tight, handlebars straight, original grips with one ripped. Original controls with brake lever tip broken off. All switches there with the High/low switch missing it's thumb slide. Headlight works as well as gauges. Tank is in GREAT shape for a 40yr old bike. Has a couple small scratches with specs of surface rust. The inside is pristine! Has non original mounting bolts ,washers,and rubber spacers. Engine fires right up, usually first kick!! Smokes like it should so 2 stoke oil delivery is in working order. Goes through the gear fine and no issues with the clutch. Carb bowl gasket is leaking presently. A complete carb rebuild kit has been ordered and will be installed before end of auction. The exhaust is excellant shape. No dings and heat shield looks great and has original baffle. Seat cover has a 1.5 inch cut on it. Foam and pan are very good. Side cover looks good and no busted tabs and locks to battery holder. Bike doesn't have a battery. Sprockets are good and a new chain will be added. The chain condition worsened from yrs of sitting. Has original shocks. Rear wheel is straight, spokes tight, rear wheel holds air, and minor stain of rust on rim. Brakes work. Has a nice rear rack that is correct. Has all directionals and rear tail light. The chrome on for the tail light fender mount surface rust. The original rear fender is in good shape. Put a battery in it and add 2 tires and have a blast on it! Great round towner and go do some exploring with as well. The bike will be sold with a NH registration and bill of sale. NH doesn't issue titles on bikes over 15yrs. The NH registration and a bill of sale gets you a title and registration in any state. $250 deposit due within 48hrs of end of auction.
